Aquaguard Delight NXT Review: Is This 9-Stage Purifier Worth It?

If you are looking for the best water purifier for home use that balances advanced filtration with water conservation, the Aquaguard Delight NXT Aquasaver is a standout contender. Designed for modern Indian households, this 9-stage RO+UV+UF purifier ensures that your family has access to safe, clean, and mineral-rich drinking water, regardless of the source. Whether you rely on municipal supplies, borewells, or tankers, this unit is engineered to tackle high TDS levels and impurities effectively.

Key Features Explained

The Delight NXT isn’t just about basic filtration; it incorporates smart technology to make daily water maintenance hassle-free.

• 9-Stage Advanced Purification: By combining RO, UV, and UF technologies, the system eliminates 99.9999% of bacteria and 99.99% of viruses. It also removes chemical contaminants like pesticides and heavy metals like lead and mercury.
• Aquasaver Technology: This is a major highlight, as it saves up to 60% more water compared to standard RO purifiers, making it an eco-friendly choice for conscious homeowners.
• Mineral Charge Cartridge: Unlike some systems that strip water of everything, this unit adds back essential micronutrients like calcium and magnesium, which improves the overall taste of the water.
• Smart LED Indicators: The intuitive display alerts you when it is time for a filter change or if there is an electronic error, removing the guesswork from maintenance.
• Long-Lasting Filters: The cartridge is rated for up to 6,000 liters or one year of use, providing excellent long-term value.

Benefits for Everyday Use

For the average user, the Aquaguard Delight NXT offers a blend of safety and convenience. The most immediate benefit is the taste; users consistently report that the water quality is crisp and refreshing.

From a practical standpoint, the wall-mounted or countertop installation gives you flexibility in tight kitchen spaces. Safety is backed by NABL and WQIA certifications, which provides peace of mind that the purification claims aren’t just marketing—they are scientifically validated. The inclusion of a free service plan in the first year also significantly reduces the initial cost of ownership.

Who Should Buy This Product?

The Aquaguard Delight NXT is ideal for small to medium-sized families living in urban areas where water quality is uncertain. If you are environmentally conscious and want to reduce the amount of wastewater your purifier generates, the Aquasaver feature makes this a top-tier pick. It is also a great fit for first-time buyers who prioritize a brand with a massive service network and a proven track record.

Things to Consider Before Buying

Before purchasing, check your home’s water TDS levels. While this unit is versatile, knowing your input water quality helps in managing your expectations regarding filter life. Additionally, ensure you have a designated power socket near your intended installation spot. While the manufacturer offers a free installation service, double-checking your wall space—or countertop availability—is vital before the technician arrives.

How to Choose the Right Water Purifier

Finding the best RO water purifier requires balancing purification needs with budget. When shopping, look for these criteria:

1. Purification Stages: Does it have at least three stages (RO, UV, UF)? The more stages, the better the removal of chemicals and pathogens.
2. Water Recovery Rate: Always check if the model includes a "water saver" feature to minimize waste.
3. Service Network: A high-end machine is useless if you can’t get a technician to replace your filters. Stick to brands like Aquaguard that have a widespread presence.
4. Certifications: Look for seals from independent laboratories to verify the unit’s ability to reduce contaminants.

Comparison Tips

When comparing this model to others, look closely at the "Operating Pressure Range" and "Max TDS Support." Some budget models fail if your borewell pressure is too high, whereas the Delight NXT is designed to handle up to 3 kg/cm². Always compare the actual capacity of the tank; a 6-liter tank is standard, but if you have a high-consumption household, you may need a larger reserve.
