What to Look for When Choosing Diwan Covers

Selecting the right diwan covers involves more than just picking a pretty pattern. To ensure you make the right investment, consider the following:

• Check the Dimensions: Always measure your diwan mattress, bolsters, and cushions before purchasing. The standard sizing provided here (60 x 90 inches for the bedsheet) is designed for a typical single-sized diwan.
• Material Quality: Look for cotton blends that offer breathability. Cotton is generally preferred for its softness and ability to stay cool in warmer weather.
• Easy Care: Ensure the product is machine washable. Since diwans are high-traffic areas, being able to toss the covers in the wash is essential for hygiene and convenience.
• Avoid Common Mistakes: Don’t ignore care instructions. Many buyers ruin their sets by using bleach; always check the manufacturer’s labels to ensure longevity.

Evaluating Quality Before You Buy

When comparing different sets, focus on the fabric density and edge finishing. A set with a higher thread count, like this 250 TC option, will feel more substantial and last longer than cheaper, thinner alternatives. Pay attention to the closure type for cushion and bolster covers to ensure they stay securely in place during daily use.
